In the previous post we learned about the difference between sublimation and transfer, as well as the types of printers, papers and inks.
Now that you know the above, let’s talk about the Heat press.
There are many models on the market: clamshell type, rotating stem, wireless, handheld and different sizes.
Let’s start with the handheld ones.

One of the advantages offered by the Cricut Easy Press is its easy transport, because although in its larger format it measures 30x25cms, it is easy to handle.
Contra? The pressure that you have to exert on some materials will not be enough, and the temperature in some cases will not be even.
As for the Mini Easy Press, I find it very useful for small things, in all cases and parallel universes I would buy it 🙂
On market you will also find heat presses for large formats.
One of the advantages of using this type of heat press is that you guarantee the pressure and temperature throughout the piece.
From experience, this heat press model works the best, not only because of the type (clamshell type) but also because it saves space.
